Pastor Dressner
About our Senior Pastor and his wife:
Zackary Dressner was born and raised in the Rochester Area as an only child. He accepted Christ as his savior as a fifteen year-old boy. He has attended the Southeast Bible Baptist Church ever since. When he was sixteen, he felt a call to the ministry under the preaching of Jim Vineyard, Pastor of Oklahoma Baptist Church. He felt led of Lord to continue his higher education at the Commonground Baptist Institute where he earned 2 Bachelor Diplomas and 2 Masters Diplomas. He is currently completing his dissertation for his PhD through Louisiana Baptist University.
Brother Dressner has served in the Southeast Bible Baptist Church for almost 20 years. He currently serves as the senior pastor of the church, the principal of the academy, the president of the institute, president of the missions board, and the president of the camp ministries. He sees pastoring adults, some of whom were once his school students, as one of his greatest joys of ministry. It is a privilege to be in one place for so long.
Brother Dressner enjoys sports, hunting, and playing chess. Whenever he can break away, he will escape to some chess tournament or tree stand. He also enjoys his wife, Jennie, and three children, Philip, Rebekah, and Paul.
Jennifer Dressner was born in New Jersey, but was raised almost entirely in the Rochester area. Jennie has a sister, 2 half brothers, 3 step brothers, and 1 step sister. Jennie and her mother have attended the Southeast Bible Baptist Church since Jennie was two-years-old; however, her Christian life began when she trusted Christ as her savior at Vacation Bible School as an eight-year-old girl.
Jennie home schools her three children and supports her husband and the ministry in a number of ways, including serving as the extension school coordinator for the academy. Jennie loves music, photography, and spending free time with her family.
Together, Pastor and Mrs. Dressner enjoy the privilege of leading others into a deeper relationship with Christ and with their fellow brothers and sisters. It is their goal that Southeast Bible Baptist Church and Commonground Baptist Ministries would be a blessing not only to the people of the church and Rochester community, but also to people around the world.
