SECA Reward Activity

Hello Parents,

At SECA, we place high value on having good character. As such, we encourage good behavior with reward activities throughout the year for those who have fewer than 5 character essays for the current semester. This Thursday 12/11, we will be treating the students to Christmas cookies! They will be able to decorate - and eat - their own Christmas cookies, with loads of toppings to choose from! In addition, we will be showing a fun recap video of our first field trip to Stokoe Farms. This will be available for parents to view online afterwards, also.

The students are doing a great job so far this year, not only in their studies, but also in exhibiting Christ-like character. Keep up the good work!

School Pictures

Good morning all! The School pictures came in! They are all wonderful! Thank you Andrew! If you purchased a digital copy of your child(ren)'s pictures, they have been emailed to you. If you do not see them, check your spam, as they may have ended up there. : ) If you did not order a copy, you can still do so now if you desire. They are $5/child. Thank you! Have a blessed day!

Christmas Shirts

Hello Parents,

We are continuing the tradition of allowing students to wear positively-themed Christmas shirts (including t-shirts) to school during the month of December! Please no shirts that are negative (I hate Christmas, I was naughty this year, etc.) Other than the Christmas shirts, normal school dress code is to be followed, including regular modesty rules for the Christmas shirts. Students will not be allowed to dress down, wear sneakers, etc.

Let's spread some cheer and get into the spirit of Christmas this month at SECA!

Gym Clothes today

Good morning parents,

In light of the Thanksgiving holiday recess this week, students will be allowed to wear their gym clothes all day today, since there is no school Friday. One more thing to be thankful for! Happy Thanksgiving!

SECA Ensemble

Hello parents,

This Sunday, the SECA Ensemble will be singing in the morning service during the special music slot.

Dress Code: Please have your child(ren) dressed in their Sunday best. The boys are to wear collared shirts and dress slacks, and ties are appreciated if they have them. The girls are to wear nice dresses or skirts and blouses. No hoodies, t-shirts, or sneakers will be allowed on stage.

SECA OPEN HOUSE

Dear Parents,

Tonight is the annual SECA Open House! We will meet in the auditorium at 6:00pm. SECA has always worked to maintain open communication with the parents of our students, and our hope is that every parent and student will be in attendance.

The open house will provide an opportunity for parents to visit the classrooms and talk with their children's teachers. We look forward to sharing your children's progress so far this year. 1st quarter report cards will be given to parents, and refreshments will also be provided.

Buffalo Bills victory day today!

REMINDER: To celebrate the Bills victory yesterday, we are going to allow the students to wear their favorite Bills shirt or jersey today! Note that these are not dress-down days, and normal school dress code rules will still apply, with the exception being that students may wear a Buffalo Bills themed shirt, jersey, sweatshirt, etc. on top.

Kids Choir Sunday AM

Hello parents,

We cordially invite you to our annual SECA Open House, taking place on Tuesday, November 18th. The event will commence at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium, where we will begin with a brief gathering. Refreshments will be provided; however, if you would like to bring a snack or drink to share, please notify Ms. Green in advance.

This is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to meet with teachers and discuss progress. Additionally, we will be hosting a raffle drawing, and attendees can receive a free raffle ticket by visiting Ms. Green before joining us in the auditorium.
