SECA SPIRIT WEEK AND NFL DAY
Dear Parent,
Spirit Week is a week of the school year that we encourage students to show their school spirit. The week of 10/21-10/25 will be Spirit Week this year. Students are encouraged to participate in the different themes each day. Normal school attire is required Monday through Thursday if students prefer not to participate in the theme of the day. On NFL Day, students will be allowed to dress down. Remember that school modesty rules still apply during Spirit Week, so please ensure that all attire is appropriately covering, no pajamas are allowed, no tight clothing, etc. Gym class will continue as normal on Tuesday, but it will be canceled on Friday.
Monday – Occupation Day
Tuesday – Superhero Day
Wednesday – World Culture Day
Thursday – Identical Friends Day
Friday – NFL Day
On Occupation Day, everyone can dress as a worker from their favorite occupation, such as a doctor, construction worker, etc.
On Superhero Day, students can wear superhero costumes, capes, gloves, headgear, etc.
On World Culture Day, students can dress in clothing from different cultures from around the world. Chinese, Australian, Colombian, you name it!
On Identical Friends Day, students are encouraged to coordinate with their friends to match each other, in clothing, hair style, etc. Students are allowed to dress down on this day, as long as they are matching with someone else.
For NFL Day on Friday, students may dress down and wear their favorite sports team attire or jerseys. Students are also asked to bring a snack and a drink to share, because we will be having a party beginning at lunch and activities in the afternoon. Children should still bring lunch, as the food provided will only be snacks. Students may still order pizza on Friday.
Thank you for your support!

Field Trip and Gym Class reminders
Hello Parents,
Tomorrow (Tuesday 10/8) is the SECA field trip to Wickham Farms! If you plan on driving and chaperoning, please inform Hollie if you haven't yet so that she can coordinate rides. Please meet at the church at 8:30am. The students will be allowed to dress down but must still follow the school modesty rules (this includes no sweat pants for the boys). They should bring a bag lunch or money to purchase food.
Also please help your children remember to pack gym clothes on Wednesday 10/9, as we want to make sure we do not miss another practice before the football tournament.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me.
In Christ,
Pastor Rickner

PIZZA ORDERS
Dear Parent,
Students will have the opportunity to buy lunch this year. On Fridays, SECA will be ordering pizza from Little Caesars Pizzeria. It will cost only $1.50 for one slice of cheese OR pepperoni pizza. A whole box may be purchased for $8.
On any given day of the week, a student may purchase a lunch from the school snack cabinet for $2.
The money can be sent into school in the student’s folder and will be collected early in the mornings. Please remember that utensils will not be provided for any students (paper plates are provided for pizza on Fridays), so parents are encouraged to send a box of plastic utensils or a set of washable utensils for students to keep in their lockers.
Thank you for your support!
