Dear Parent,

               This year’s Rummage Sale is going to be held on March 1st and 2nd. SECA needs a strong fundraiser, and our school would greatly benefit from anything you could donate. Please drop off donations in the gym after the Wednesday service on February 28th.

            However, there is yet another way you could be of help to our school. On Thursday, February 29th, we will be setting up the gym to prepare for the sale, and we will need help. The greatest need is for set up on Thursday, between 2pm and 7pm, and on Saturday, March 2nd, from 11am to 3pm, to help clean up afterwards.

            If you can help, please notify Bethany Krupenya. Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon are the most important, but all help would be much appreciated!

Dear Parent,

               On Thursday, February 15th, students in 1st- 6th grade who have received less than 5 Character Essays in the first and second quarter will be able to participate in a reward activity. This semester’s reward will start at 12:30. We will be showing the movie

Ratatouille (filtered).  Praise the Lord for the great improvement we have seen in the character of the students!


            Students who qualify are allowed to dress down (sweatpants are prohibited). Snacks will be provided; however, students should bring their own lunch. High school classes will continue as usual that day. Elementary students will have class up until lunch, then after lunch will be the reward activity.

Dear Parent,

Everyone is eligible for the reward activity this semester!

Dear Parent,

Next week, January 29th - February 2nd, is SECA’s annual Revival Week. We will have Chapel on every day that week. We are honored to have a different preacher on each of these upcoming days. Families are welcome to come and participate in the services. We will be on the Monday schedule for the entire week (Chapel is from 11:15-11:50AM).

                                              

The preachers for Revival Week will be as follows:

Monday: Bro. Eric McDowell

Tuesday: Pastor Chris Baran

Wednesday: Pastor Dave Cialini

Thursday: Bro. Todd Martineau

Friday: Pastor Luke Tullock

SECA Christmas Party

Dear Parent,

SECA will be hosting our annual school-wide Christmas party on Friday, December 15th. The school-wide activities will begin at 11:50 am. Free pizza for will be provided for all students.

 Please have students bring a snack or drink to share with the school.                        

Students are allowed to dress down. Boys may wear jeans or wind pants (sweat pants are not permitted), and girls may wear culottes.

The following outlines SECA’s snow day policy: When school is closed, the announcement will be made on WHAM radio, 13wham.com, and Channel 13 in the morning for parents and students to check. If you don’t hear it on WHAM 1180 AM, see it on 13wham.com, or see it on Channel 13, the school will be open. You can find more information at https://13wham.com/weather/closings.

 

In the parent portal on our website, you can enter your phone number to receive a text whenever there is a snow day or any school cancellation. If you have not signed up to receive text alerts on our website, you can sign up here: https://myground.org/school/texts.
