Dear Parents,
Picture Day is just around the corner! This year's Picture Day is scheduled for Thursday, February 27th. We're excited to capture memories of our entire school, including students, teachers, staff, and extension families.
Digital Copies:
Digital copies of your child's picture will be available for purchase at a cost of $5 per student. This is a great way to share your picture with family and friends.
Important:
Please make sure to arrive on time for Picture Day. We are happy to have Andrew Martineau taking pictures this year. SECA is requiring all the students and staff, including extension students and parents, to have their pictures taken, so that the yearbook will be uniform.
The pictures will be taken from 8:45-2:45. Please have your child present that day. If you miss Picture Day, a late fee will be applied to cover the additional costs of taking your picture at a later time.
We're looking forward to capturing smiles and memories on Picture Day! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to the school office.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
In Christ,
Kevin Rickner

Thank you,

Dear Parents,
Next week, February 3rd - February 7th, is SECA’s annual Revival Week. We will have Chapel on every day that week. We are honored to have a different preacher on each of these upcoming days. Families are welcome to come and participate in the services. We will be on the Monday schedule for the entire week (Chapel is from 11:15-11:50AM).
The preachers for Revival Week will be as follows:
Monday: Pastor Dave Cialini
Tuesday: Bro. Eric McDowell
Wednesday: Bro. Kelly Dye
Thursday: Pastor Roy Sietmann
Friday: Pastor Art Kohl
Please pray that the students will be challenged and blessed by the messages God brings to them through the speakers.
In Christ,
Pastor Rickner

Good evening Parents,
This is a reminder that the SECA Kids Choir is singing tomorrow morning. Please have them dressed in their Sunday best. They will be lining up by the nursery and Mrs. Krupenya's classroom at 10:45am. We look forward to hearing from them!
In Christ,
Pastor Rickner
Good evening Parents,
Many school districts in the area are closing due to the extreme wind chill factor predicted for tomorrow. As such, Southeast Christian Academy will be closed Wednesday 1/22. Stay safe and warm!
In Christ,
Pastor Rickner
SECA is open today
Good morning Parents,
While some private institutions have closed today due to the frigid temperatures, no public school districts in our area have closed besides the Rochester City Schools (likely due to the fact that many of their students walk to school). SECA will be open today. Busing should be running as normal.
In Christ,
Pastor Rickner
Hello Parents,
With another Buffalo Bills playoff victory comes another opportunity to celebrate! Tomorrow, Tuesday 1/21, students will be permitted to wear Buffalo Bills clothing on top, including hoodies, in addition to being allowed to wear sneakers this time! All other school dress code rules are in effect (it is not a dress down day other than what is stated above).
Let's take this time to enjoy the spoils of victory, and hope for more to come next week. If you have any questions, please feel free to text me.
In Christ,
Pastor Rickner
Hello Parents,
In celebration of the Buffalo Bills playoff victory today, students will be permitted to wear a Bills shirt or jersey over their regular school clothes! All other normal dress code rules apply. We will continue this tradition each Monday for as long as the Buffalo Bills keep winning playoff games. Enjoy, and GO BILLS!
In Christ,
Pastor Rickner
Dear Parents,
This year SECA will be hosting the annual Christmas party on Thursday, December 19th. The school-wide activities will begin with lunch at 11:50 pm.
Please have students bring a snack and drink to share with the school.
Students are allowed to dress down in gym clothes or festive Christmas attire regardless of character essay status. Boys may wear jeans or wind pants, and girls may wear culottes. Sweatpants and joggers will not be permitted.
On a separate note, some school bus garages may be operating on some days over the next 2 weeks, so please contact the bus garage in your school district and inform them that you will not need busing until Monday, January 6th.
Thank you for your support, and have a Merry Christmas!
In Christ,
Pastor Rickner
